We encourage you to have your garage door system professionally inspected. Your inspection should include:

1. Careful inspection of the entire counterbalance spring system, including springs, cables, and attached hardware.
2. Careful inspection of all hardware attachments, including hinges, top brackets, and rollers.
3. Lubrication of all above appropriate parts.
4. Test the reversing mechanism on your garage door opener.
5. Careful inspection of opener, including necessary adjustments to limit switches and lubrication of appropriate parts.
