FAQ
Q: How do I get to your office and showroom?
A: We are located at 8811 Bash Street, just
north of the Castleton Post Office. Click here
to view map.
Q: How often should I have my door or opener serviced?
A: If you are not having any problems and your door is working smoothly and quietly, a preventative maintenance call is suggest once a year with normal use. If your door/ opener is older and or gets heavy use, you may want to have this maintenance done more frequently. If you have any concerns of safety do not operate the door and call a service professional.
Q: Can I work on my own door?
A: Simple lubrication or a tightening of a hinge is fine. Lubricate the door with a light duty spray lube, like wd-40 or a silicone spray. This can be used on the rollers, track, springs, hinges and the operator chain (if it has one). Remember to remove your car from the garage so that no oil will drip on your car.
Q: Can I adjust my springs?
A: Never! Homeowners should never attempt to remove, adjust any cables, springs, or bottom fixtures on any door. These items are under great tension and could inflict serious injury and or death. Always call a service professional to adjust or replace any spring, cable, or bottom fixture.
Q: Do you work on all makes and models?
A: Yes, all makes and models and all of our service trucks are stocked with replacement parts, and we can usually fix your problem in one trip.
If you have any questions regarding your door or opener please contact our office for helpful information and or the scheduling of a service call.
